chuga 4
I started converting all my videots to mkv for better compatibility steaming to devices. One thing I miss is true FF/RW capability. The non WMC players, from what I can tell, let you skip forward and back by certain times, but not the old single/double/triple tap to get different speeds Chuga
HoosierDaddy 3
Hi, I am new to MB3 and would like to import my DVDs into Server. I only have between 70-90 and am debating if I should rip (if that's the right term) as ISOs or Video TS folders. I was going to convert them to MP4s but realized there may be advantages to having them in a form that would also serve as a backup against physical destruction of the DVDs not to mention possible loss of quality converting to MP4. So which format did you use (or recomend) and why? TIA Edited December 19, 2013 by HoosierDaddy

Lee 204
With makemkv you can strip the content straight out of the DVD bobs and package it in Mkv with no quality loss. Wots more no conversion so it takes no time at all AND is simple.
