Hi guy's,

wondering if anybody can offer any guidance or point me in the right direction...

regarding the Blog release announcement for Emby Server 3.0.5868 Beta

... my Mac OS X currently states I am running Version 3.0.5821.0, where and how can I get the beta release from?

I have tried downloading the ' Emby.Server.Mac.pkg' from GitHub,

https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/tree/master/Server

...which says it was updated 4 days ago, but it still stays as version 3.0.5821.0

assistance very much appreciated, thanks !

Why is Mac development always behind all other OS's here?

Why announce a beta with "* Safari playback fix" as first feature without providing a Mac beta release?

I really should get used to that strategy. It's obvious Mac OS is like the neglected step child...

It is not behind at all. It normally gets each stable release on the same day as the other operating systems.

Nothing has changed. They have to be built on a mac machine which means they are not hooked into our automated build process. It is not feasible for us to manually produce daily betas. thanks.
