No Audio with DTS

I have emby theatre installed on windows 10,

HDMI > LG TV > Digital out to SONOS Playbar (with two Play 1 Surrounds)

I am getting no sound through my system when the movie is DTS audio. AC3 Works fine. I am fairly sure I have tried every combination of playback setting at least twice.

The strange thing is, DTS movies work if I use the Emby Windows App.

Can anyone help?

OK I've got it working!!!

a clean install of Emby Theatre and it worked.

I checked playback settings and bit streaming is now set to 'none'

That must have been the problem. It was on HDMI before

Thanks for everybody's help

Correct.  A lot of those sound bars only support AC3 (DD).

I didn't see this thread yesterday, but the Sonos PlayBar does NOT support DTS playback, only DD.

I get DD audio from my Xbox One, Emby for Kodi addon (running on Nexus Player) and the Emby for Samsung Smart TV app.

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed that Sonos doesn't support DTS. Alas, too late now

I knew before my purchase, so set about converting all DTS movies to DD, but retained the DTS track in case they ever changed their minds, or I bought different hardware :D

Will Emby server transcode DTS to DD when streaming to ET? I recall this feature being recently added on the server end.

I have been struggling with this for a week now trying to get HD Master DTS as well. I did a fresh install of Windows 10 and server with theater with no luck

What's your system configuration? If you're using an optical cable, dts-MA won't be supported.

Using HDMI interconnects and the receiver displays HD Master Audio with other sources. All other HD formats work when using Kodi so that rules out PC hardware sound card issues.
