KillermanGabe 4 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Where are the configuration files for emby-server located on CentOS 6? I told Emby to bind to port 80 and now will not load webpage with localhost:80.
Solution fc7 123 Posted January 31, 2016 Solution Posted January 31, 2016 Only root can bind process to ports below port 80. You need to run Emby as root if you really want that. Please search the forum since other user had this problem in the past. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

KillermanGabe 4 Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 Wait, nevermind. Sorry, didn't realize I had to change user in config.
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Ah good. You figured out how to get it done. I was just about to ask if you had set the user in the Emby config in /etc/default/emby-server...at least I think that is the config location.
fc7 123 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 You shouldn't modify that file but the one in /etc. The default file will be overwrited with every update of the package. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
