ITV shows not populating

I've only just tried to install ITV for the first time and can't get any shows to populate if i pick genre, popular or tv channel.
I have tried in the web client, windows app and Emby Theatre.

Does anyone have any ideas?

the ITV channel doesn't work in plex either so maybe URLs have changed

We'd have to look at the server log in order to answer that:

http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/

for what it's worth, I have no idea what I'm doing but i managed to decompile the .dll and find the url's. I tried them in my browser for each, genre, popular and tv channel. Each url redirects to an 'all shows' hub.

From what I have found out, ITV Player has changed to ITV Hub -  http://www.itv.com/hub/itv

hope this helps.

There was an equivalent ITV player in plex which wasn't working either. I managed to find a fork which works so i'm assuming it can be done.

what does the itv change mean for us?

Hi Luke, Is anyone able to look into this?

I did clone from github and change the urls. I tested it, but it didn't work. I'm not surprised though because i have no experience of c# and literally only swapped url's.

I looked at the plex ITV fork history to see what they had changed and it was a bit over my head.

Thanks

http://mercury.itv.com/api/xml/mobile?screensize=big&broadcaster=ITV

http://mercury.itv.com/api/xml/mobile/Episode/MostWatched?screensize=big&broadcaster=ITV

The urls indeed changed as did the parameters to access the endpoints. Regexs need fixing? Or just urls updated? Maybe both? Maybe.. Heh :)

Yeah as they have changed all the links the plugin needs remaking.

I have started but then new baby came along and haven't had time to even think about anything PC related.. lol

Hopefully I will finish it soon!

it's just not working for me still, so i assume all the links still need to be changed? i get the channel list, but they don't play, and the popular programs area is empty

EDIT: when asking if it was still in progress i didn't read that date of the post above, which was the same day. Ignore me for now please.

Is it me or has the ITV plugin disappeared for the server?

HI, I've removed the plugin from the catalog for now and let the developer know that it needs to be updated. thanks.
