Hello all new to the forum... I just upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1 which took away WMC after the install. I also already had Emby installed which is still there and working fine. I found a way to install WMC back onto Windows 10 and it works as before, But Emby is no longer there in the menu. Is there a way to add Emby back without doing a uninstall/re-install of Emby Server?

Thanks for any help.

Emby is already installed from before I upgraded to Windows 10, The problem I am having is I lost WMC by upgrading to 10 and had to re-install that. I have WMC working but Emby is no longer a part of the menu and I was wondering if I could just add it back into WMC without having to do a new install. But thanks for the link Pais... It may come in handy if I have to do a fresh install.

I've read some were having issues witn WMC on Win10 where did you get the download for WMC and did you need to do anything special to get it working?

When Windows 10 removed WMC, it would have removed any connections to the Emby client. Reinstalling the Emby client will rebuild that connection.

It's working fine so far on mine...I got it from http://betanews.com/2015/09/09/how-to-install-windows-media-center-on-windows-10/

I didn't need to do anything special...Just followed the instructions on the page.

Cool thanks! Can I just re-install over the old Emby or will I need to un-install first?
