plessers@gmail.com 24
Hello, For my movies, I always have a *.nfo file in the movie directory, so I changed my emby setting to This works really great for movies, but I noticed that for my recently added music, there is no album art anymore. Has this something to do with it? All my *.mp3's have album art embedded, so I would like to see this album art appearing in emby? How can this be done? kind regards, Bart
Deathsquirrel 741
Click on the dropdown in your screenshot that's set to Film and choose music instead. That lets you access the settings for music. In my experience the most important thing for music is the ID3 tags in the files. Make sure your album, song title, artist, and album artist values are the way you want to see them in Emby. I use MP3Tag for this.
plessers@gmail.com 24
@Deathsquirrel: thanx for quick response! feeling so embarrased that I didn't notice this was for movies. Newbie blush :-) Howerver, here are my settings for music: Seems OK for me, but albums look like this: I tag my mp3's also with MP3tag, and as you can see: images are embedded: It worked once before, because with the initial scan of my library, album images where found. Now I am reorganizing and adding albums. With newly added albums, no images anymore :-( any ideas?
Deathsquirrel 741
It worked for me with the server build that was stable at christmas, the last time I bought new albums. Must be pretty recent if there's a wide-spread issue. Can you manually retrieve artwork for the albums and does that stick through subsequent library scans? Does manually refreshing the album in the metadata editor find the art?
Luke 37052
As he suggested, please try to refresh the content in the web interface, and then provide the server log: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Perhaps there was an extraction failure. plessers@gmail.com 24
Here is a test at 10:24, I added a new music album (Florence and the Machine) The album is almost immediatly found. Relevant log-info is attached (log.txt) If I go to the album, and select refresh, album art is found and showed on interface: So everythings seems working fine, except for automatic refreshing album art. Anybody else? thanx for taking a look at this, kind regards, Bart log.txt log2.txt
emgallop 0
I'm having this same issue. I can go into the album, and the art is next to each song. If I do an identify and look it up, it finds it. I tell it to replace existing art and then refresh the page and poof it's there. So the art is there, it's just not refreshing the main album image in the library.

Luke 37052
Thanks, I am working on resolving this for the next release. If you could switch to beta that would be great, thanks.
