Artweb1991 12 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) Hello everybody! Did the design application for Web OS, please vote and write what you think. If OK, continue to do a PS4 and XBOX ONE. With colleagues think make applications. So far, there is no design of some pages. P.S. I do not speak English well =) https://www.behance.net/gallery/32725695/Emby-LG-Web-OS-DLNA-client-design Edited January 11, 2016 by Artweb1991 7

If someone wants to help, we will be happy! As soon as the first working version, I will write =) Edited January 11, 2016 by Artweb1991 4

Enviado de meu TA7801W usando Tapatalk For older versions of LG Smart TV has this version of the application (Netcast OS): http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/26253-playz-emby-for-lg-smart-tvs/ But we'll see what can be done. Real devices on Netcast we do not have (unfortunately)=)
anderbytes 140 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Hi art, Will it be necessary a "Developer Mode" to use your software, or are you thinking in publishing it to LG STORE ?
jmvaro 0 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Hi everyone, Please artWeb1991, if the App is available, attach or tell us where to download from. I write from Spain, so my Emby Server is configured in spanish.
eraser8 46 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 HI ArtWeb, I am available to help you on the development of this app. Is the code on Emby GitHub? Let me know if you want me to help you with this. Thanks 1

Luke 38493 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Guys take a look at the new online version of Emby Theater: http://tv.emby.media/ My plan is to use this to create as many smart tv apps as we possibly can.

Please HTTPS on everything :) If possible... of course. How would this work, Luke? Web apps will connect to this URL in some way? Edited March 2, 2016 by anderbytes
Luke 38493 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 LG apps are html so we would just package it into an LG app.
anderbytes 140 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) @@Luke, very smart! I hope it works. I tried it from my browser... and I was inside my browser, but site wasn't https. How is that possible? I dont have HTTP port opened in Internet. Edited March 2, 2016 by anderbytes

Hi Luke, I already tried this on the old version of emby theater and it works but I needed to change couple of things. Maybe this web version should be great to do the test! Is the sources are on github? I could give it a try!
Luke 38493 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 what do you mean tried the old version? the old version was c#, could never run on a smart tv.
eraser8 46 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) Sorry, I looked this version to be the same looking than the old Emby theater. This is why I said the "old" one. HEre is were I took the sources I used to build a LG tv package. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Web Is it the same app you are talking about? Thanks Edited March 2, 2016 by eraser8
Luke 38493 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 yes this is going to be an official emby app. if you would like to contribute, i can create the LG repo now and you can fork and start pushing updates.
eraser8 46 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Ok, I just try it your link above and it seems to be exactly the same. FYI, The LG framework seems to have some difficulties to deal with couple component such as "paper-input" object. So, it is not simply to insert source and build a LG package. We need to do multiple mods to be allow to works well on LG. I tested it on a LG 60LB7100 with up-to date firmware WEBOS 2.0 Thanks

No problem for me, It will be great to help you out with this. I'm currently not an expert in WEB development but I have many years in client-server apps in JAVA. So, even if I'm not a specialist in HTML tags, I think I can bring couple of good things
