That's right, it's just a design. But now we are working on the application. It should be expected in the coming months. Of course, the application is free. If someone wants to help, we will be happy! As soon as the first working version, I will write =)

Hi art,

Will it be necessary a "Developer Mode" to use your software, or are you thinking in publishing it to LG STORE ?

Hi everyone,

Please artWeb1991, if the App is available, attach or tell us where to download from.

I write from Spain, so my Emby Server is configured in spanish.

HI ArtWeb,

I am available to help you on the development of this app. Is the code on Emby GitHub? Let me know if you want me to help you with this.

Thanks

Guys take a look at the new online version of Emby Theater:

http://tv.emby.media/

My plan is to use this to create as many smart tv apps as we possibly can.

Please HTTPS on everything  :) :) :)

If possible... of course.

How would this work, Luke? Web apps will connect to this URL in some way?

LG apps are html so we would just package it into an LG app.

@@Luke, very smart! I hope it works.

Hi Luke, I already tried this on the old version of emby theater and it works but I needed to change couple of things. Maybe this web version should be great to do the test! Is the sources are on github? I could give it a try!

what do you mean tried the old version? the old version was c#, could never run on a smart tv.

Sorry, I looked this version to be the same looking than the old Emby theater. This is why I said the "old" one. HEre is were I took the sources I used to build a LG tv package.

Is it the same app you are talking about?

Thanks

yes this is going to be an official emby app. if you would like to contribute, i can create the LG repo now and you can fork and start pushing updates.

Ok,

I just try it your link above and it seems to be exactly the same.

FYI, The LG framework seems to have some difficulties to deal with couple component such as "paper-input" object. So, it is not simply to insert source and build a LG package. We need to do multiple mods to be allow to works well on LG.

I tested it on a LG 60LB7100 with up-to date firmware WEBOS 2.0

Thanks

No problem for me, It will be great to help you out with this. I'm currently not an expert in WEB development but I have many years in client-server apps in JAVA. So, even if I'm not a specialist in HTML tags, I think I can bring couple of good things :)
