EduardoSantos 40
Hi, Emby currently takes about 30 minutes to scan my database. It used to take 2-3 minutes. This behaviour started some versions ago and I waited to see if something would change. It didn't It seems to be related to music metadata being fetched on the web. Attached is the server log. server-63587962404.txt

Deathsquirrel 741
If you haven't already, disable extracting chapter images during the scan. It's in the metadata settings on the advanced tab.
Luke 36879
You might consider going to metadata -> services, and turning off musicbrianz for artists and albums
