Just started using the Samsung app 1.01 and 1.0.2. When I go into one of my media folders with a movies as the content they are displayed as Thumbs. My web client displays them as Folders or Primary image.

Where is the setting to change from the thumb image to the primary. I can get a lot more movies on the screen using primary and not all my thumbs have a logo on them.

Thanks

JohnnyM

PS I do like the Samsung app. I couldn't get the previous version to install.

Does it not look like my pic?  Is your movie folder defined as "Movies" in the dashboard?  The only folders which display as thumbs for me are Home videos and maybe Unset

My Movie library looks like Image 1 on Samsung. Image 2 is the media library from the dashboard. Note that the type is movie. Image 3 is a screen shot of the same section but from the web client.

Ok, then your View Styles might need to be changed.  If not set to enhanced then they will show theme files

You were correct. I got to the view that you have on the Samsung TV but it added Suggestion, Latest, Genres and more. I can't believe that this is the only way to get to a folders view.

It also changed my views in emby in wmc and added a set to get to my collection because it adds suggestions etc.

Thanks for the help

Glad you got it working.

Maybe @cmcg could add the View Styles settings in the mirrored server settings within the app also so you wouldn't have to go to the webclient to change.  Then a description could be added on how changing them will affect your views in the app.
