Strange behaviors trying to access and play media

I'm not sure if this is related to the latest server update (3.0.5083.27698), but I first noticed these issues around the time of my last update.  The issues occur in Firefox and IE11.

So the first part of this is simply trying to access content. I can drill down into any tv show, but once I drill down to the episode level,  I get an error: 'object reference not set to an instance of an object'

here is the log when I try the above action:

The next issues relate to movies.  I've noticed that now there are several movies that do not play, but instead give me a 'decode error' in the playback window.  I recreated the issue and got the server/ffmpeg logs:

Server: http://paste2.org/nxw0k0bs

ffmpeg:  http://paste2.org/50eF8kUX

Here is a movie that plays for 1 second and then stops:

Server: http://paste2.org/gFKIgZBK

ffmpeg: http://paste2.org/yApNWWm4

Here is a bluray rip (in bluray folder form) that simply gives me an error of 'invalid source'.  I realize folder support is experimental right now, but I thought I would share this in the hope that it might help.

ffmpeg: http://paste2.org/7Gj8JtCZ

If any more info is needed, let me know.  thanks.

I did want to add that while I cannot use the web client for any tv content due to the above error, I can access all of my content without issue via MBT and the Win 8 app.

I also don't have the movie issues in MBT, but obviously that's due to it not trying to transcode the files.

I also checked out my cpu usage on the server while transcoding.  I do notice that while its trying to transcode the bluray rips that I have not converted into a smaller .mp4 format, the cpu hovers in the low 90s.  On the movies that I listed above, I'm hitting the mid to high 90s, with a moment every so often of hitting 100.  So it may turn out that you guys find its a performance issue on my end, but I could have sworn that these movies played via the web client a while back.

We are aware of the ie issues. If you have access to another browser can you try the same files as a test.

Hoping to sort ie soon but we are still trying to find the source of the issue (lots of moving parts to look at )

Just so I'm clear, you mentioned an IE issue, but are you referring to just the 3 playback issues I listed below that first issue?

The first issue is not really a playback issue, I can't even access an episode list for a tv show.  Is that also considered an IE issue?

I wasn't sure if I needed to make a github post about the first issue since its the first time I have seen it happen.  The playback issues are not as big a deal to me since I knew you guys were still working on such issues.

The only other thing I can think of that changed around the same time this started was that I replaced a couple hard drives.

I migrated my movies and some tv to larger drives, but I set up those new drives with the same drive letters, etc.  I even went in and removed the movies and tv collections so that I could recreate them with the proper media type (they were listed as 'mixed')

Could it be that moving the media around caused the server to mess up like this?

Sorry, I missed that you had replied again.

The first log posted in my first post is what happens when I try to access anything that is in a tv show format:

What screenshots might be helpful to you?

Unfortunately the problem remains even after the last couple of server updates.  I'll create a new log and follow up with that asap (in case the updates may have changed what shows up in the logs)

well just wanted to update this and say that after the most recent server update, my problem went way and now I can access all content once again.

So whatever it was, its gone now, so I'm happy!
