Ian-Highlander 145 Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 Hi @@ebr Minor niggle that I've had for a while, but was more bothered about other issues so didn't mention this at the time. For some reason the latest items don't populate on the Music Videos view in the EHS. Works great for everything else, just not for music videos, the panel just stays empty. Is it something I'm doing wrong perhaps? Or if not, something that might be a quick fix? (if you need anything from me let me know). Hard to say, because I tend to keep both fully up to date (and am running the beta of EMC at the moment so one ahead on that right now). From my perception I'd say it's more likely to be the server that's affected it but whilst I am a techy, I'm not a programmer so honestly couldn't say. The perception is that it was a couple of builds ago of Emby as a product because to people outside of it Emby as a product is the whole thing (server/client). Sorry, not much help I realise, but that's the best I can give you. Happy to do any testing or provide any logs if they're any use of course, but not sure what you'd need at this point. solidus28 11 Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 I will try 290 when I have a chance. This started for me when I updated the server to 3.0.5768.7 & EMC to 3.0.286. I'm not sure which was the culprit as I ran into the "No Items after Upgrade" thread issue after the server update and pretty immediately installed 286. Really? that's strange, definitely didn't for me. But maybe it's something to do with my setup again (although I've just rebuilt it all and left it completely stock apart from legacy images which is weird). I've just removed my music videos library, ran a media scan, ran a clean database task, re-added my music video library again, cleared the cache and imagecache in EMC and it's still not working for me on the 290 dev version. I guess however as it's working for @@solidus28 now that I have to accept it must be something to do with my system, although god knows what as everything else is working as expected for latest items. On the chocolate views tab, under EHS options, I have use season poster in recent and Show selected title selected. I'm on Windows 7 and running the latest stable server release if that matters. The category is set as Music Videos, they're populated fine in both the web client and EMC under the Music Videos option. I can view them and play them fine in both the web client and in EMC. They used to show up fine in the latest items a few versions ago as I say. Is there perhaps a clean installer for that 290 dev version I can download from somewhere? Obviously it's not available on the main site. I can do a clean uninstall of EMC, remove all files/config etc and re-install it again if so just to rule that out too.
