theusedversion 35 Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 So I wanted some new genre covers because I didn't really care for the existing ones and didn't see anyt that I liked here in the community. I didn't really want to do anything complicated (or time consuming) so I chose a simple layout. I doubt this will be useful for anyone but I thought it best to share anyways just in case. Why let it go to waste, right? I use only a few genres for my movies (typically one genre per movie) so my collection is missing quite a few genres such as Thrillers, Biographies, War, Western, Suspense, etc. I have included the PSD files, font used, existing covers that I already created, and instructions on how to make your own in a zip file that I hope is good enough to assist someone if they wanted to use my existing ones and make new ones to fill out the rest of their genres. You will need Photoshop. Are there any other programs that can open up PSD files? If so, you can try those. I kind of wrote the instructions out in a way for people who have little to no experience with Photoshop. It's a bit long winded for something that can be accomplished in like a minute. I realize it would have been best if I had completed the rest of the genres myself and I honestly tried to, but I'm just too damn anal about getting the right image that it would take me forever to complete. I'm sorry. If you already know how to use Photoshop, then you probably don't need this because it's just a simple and easy layout that you could easily do yourself. And yes, I really like blue. Oh and my Adult genre is actually my Erotica genre. Not actually any porn movies. I just prefer to use the term Adult instead.
