Feature Request: Limit Guide Size

Downloading the guide is quite slow with a large number of channels, even with a fast network and fast clients.  It would be a good feature to be able to limit the number of hours retrieved/displayed to speed it up.  For example, you could download 4 hours instead of 12.

 

Also, it must be architectural because the guide is slow regardless of the client.   Even when limited to just 50 channels, it's way slower than the guides built into cable or satellite receivers.  Whatever method the clients use to retrieve and store this information is probably ripe for a rewrite.
