Setting LiveTV "Recording Path" is not working as expected

Hi All,

 

It's very possible I'm just not understanding something here, but I want my Live TV shows to record to D:\LiveTV\ShowName.

 

So I set the "Recording Path" to D:\LiveTV on the Emby Server.

 

Recording works great, but shows are all recording to D:\LiveTV\Series\Showname.  (Notice the additional "Series" directory in the path.)

 

I have Auto-Organize switched Off, becuase I let Sonarr do the organizing, if that makes any difference.

 

Any way to get rid of the intermediate "Series" directory?  I'm moving over slowly from NPVR and would prefer not to move all my recordings around to accomodate this.

At the moment no. We'd have to break out separate settings for TV movies, TV series, etc

I would instead consider adding your existing libraries as media libraries. Then use the option for autoorganize to move into there. That way the recording path would become more of a temp directory

 

We will look to make this more flexible in future releases
