NightHawk 1
I recently did a local database wipe of Kodi to re-sync my video files. I have four libraries, Anime, Anime Movies, Movies, and TV Shows. Before the wipe, all four libraries synced normally. After the wipe, the Anime library will no longer sync. It just has a Please Wait... message the entire time when I try to access it. All of the other folders sync and work fine. I've tried wiping the database again, starting from scratch, everything I could think of, even re-adding the library on the Emby server. The libraries/files all work normally on Emby's side, so I believe the issue is on Kodi's side. I've uploaded my log file. Thanks for your time. kodi.log Edited September 4, 2015 by NightHawk
Solution Angelblue05 4130 Posted September 4, 2015 Solution Share Posted September 4, 2015 Your anime does not return CollectionType in the api. We are currently on fixing this issue which started with the recent server versions (they changed the api slightly). Could you take a screenshot of your views and viewstyle in the emby webclient? This usually happens if the content type is mixed or if the view style for your anime is disabled.
NightHawk 1
Wow, that was it. Anime was the only folder that didn't have Enhanced Presentations under View Styles. It's syncing now. Thank you!
Sek0n 7
I just had this problem with both my movies and tv shows after I reinstalled my OS. After about 5 reinstalls on my server, I found this thread. Re-enabling the view styles let it sync again. Thanks for posting this. Was driving me insane.
