mchiu 0 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 CoverArt Media Info Indicator Overlays are not always showing up on the Blu-ray cases. I believe that for most of these cases, the "Treat image as" entry was blank, Despite adding "Blu-Ray" to this entry, the indicator overlays do not show up. I have also restarted the computer without effect. My movies are in ISO format. I have attached a screenshot showing the absence of indicator overlays on some of the Blu-Ray cases. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Mark
ebr 15647 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 The indicator of being a BD or DVD or whatever is the case itself (see the spine on your cases?). The video icon overlay is for the video codec which we probably cannot determine from an ISO. 1
mchiu 0 Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 Thank you, CBW. Is there any way to manually override CoverArt and force it to show the "1080" overlay indicator?
ebr 15647 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Sorry, no. It reads the resolution value from the media info. You can try refreshing the items to see if you can get good media info on them. I would consider starting a conversion process to file formats for the future.
mchiu 0 Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 It has been awhile since I have looked at other file formats. I will to research, but to get me started, would the MKV file format be one the more preferred formats for the future? Thanks.
ebr 15647 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Yes, a lot of people use mkv. Max compatibility is probably mp4 but many find mkv easier to deal with and most systems can handle them.
