James71 0 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I donated for this plugin and am an Emby supporter. I also purchased Playon. It works in the Emby webclient but it does not from MBC. Logs say something about the connection being forcibly closed. Not sure why this is happening. I cleared the Playon Cache, switched from 127.0.01 to the lan address all with the same result. Attached is the server log. Any help would be greatly appreciated. server-63575007889.txt
Luke 40000 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 More info will be needed, specifically, Emby for WMC logs, transcoding logs (if created), and complete server logs. Please see http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/790-how-to-report-a-problem/
James71 0 Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Cool. Attached are all the logs for Emby Server as well as MediaBrowser Classic. Screenshots would be pointless as MediaBrowser Classic just hangs and gives no errors. logs.zip
Luke 40000 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Ok but that's a zip file containing two more zip files that have a large number of logs in them. So we would have to dig through them looking for problems. It is best to recreate the problem one more time, and then post all of the logs that were written during that time period. thanks.
James71 0 Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Here are the logs created during 2 attempts to get this to work. logs.zip
Luke 40000 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 It looks like the plugin is supplying a video url that doesn't exist. See [http @ 0000000002cd24a0] HTTP error 404 Not Found http://192.168.1.123:54479/hbonow-a197813be5084c1fade91dba7b531063/main.m3u8: Server returned 404 Not Found So we will need the playon plugin developer, @@snazy2000 to help since everything else seems normal.
snazy2000 344 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I have just tested this issue with MBT and web client, these both work without issue using 127.0.0.1 as the server for playon, mbt transcodes the video (guessing its because the server ip is 127.0.0.1) i see no reason why it wouldn't work in MBC unless it is an issue with MBC itself. I personally dont have any means of testing mbc at the moment due to being on Windows 10
Luke 40000 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 @@snazy2000 can you test the exact same content? i don't think it matters what client you're using if the video url is bad.
snazy2000 344 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I looked at the logs he sent, it showed he used the same content on two tests one on web client and one in mbc and webclient worked.
Luke 40000 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 it looks like it might even be a play on problem if their server is returning 404 in certain conditions
James71 0 Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 I will try to get ahold of them and see if they have any solutions. Thanks.
