Hi Everyone,

Apologies in advance, I'm not trying to come across like a whiner or a complainer, just having a connection issue.

1) I install the Emby App from the store

2) I Launch the Emby App

3) I choose the "Optimize for Touch" option

4) I choose to manually connect

5) I connect to my Emby Server's DDNS address and specify 8096 (or with my external IP addy and specify 8096)

6) The Emby App connects

7) I press my username

8) Emby starts up and shows "Syncing..." in the upper right hand corner

9) I can start playing back media

...So for, all good....

10) I reboot

11) After I reboot, I launch the Emby app

12) As far as I can tell, upon rebooting, the Emby app cannot connect to my Emby server. The spinning green thingy spins and spins. I can leave it sitting like that for over an hour and it just spins and spins:

13) I uninstall the Emby app, reboot, and run the through steps 1 thru 9, and then consistently hit Step 12.

Has anyone else encountered similar behavior?

The Web Client on Win10 (via the Edge browser) works like a champ though. It consistently connects to my Emby Server's DDNS hostname or external IP addy.

I haven't yet tried Emby Connect, I'll try and give that a shot today.

Thanks!

It's actually a known issue which will be resolved with v3.4.2 which will be submitted to store any day now, just waiting for some more translations to be finished.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up! I'll keep an eye out for the updated version...
