Using internal player to select subtitles and switch audio stream?

So I had mpc-hc + shark007 working fine for years now.. some update recently somewhere caused this to break slowly but surely. I don't know what exactly caused it.

 

I uninstalled Shark and installed the lastest version (I was way behind)... and am happy to say that I can now use the emby internal player with bitstreamed audio (WIN!). I hated using MPC-HC, and yearned to get away from it. Now I have a good reason..

 

BUt (you knew there was a but)... I can't seem to figure out how to select subtitle streams or change audio streams. Is there a way to do this ?

Not without additional software and setup (something like MediaControl).  WMC was designed in the days of DVDs and all those operations were performed via the DVD menu.
