mellomade 140 Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) Hi All, I've noticed some strange behaviour with the watched status - which occurs regardless of Kodi version (tested on 14.2 and 15) or Emby version (tested with both beta and stable). If I have a movie that has already been watched it will display the correct watched status both on the server and in Kodi - fine. But when I go to watch it again - even if for a few seconds - Kodi then changes the watched status back to unwatched. Seems like once a movie is watched you should have to force an unwatched state if you want to change it. Should this be the case? cpl183 0 Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) i also have a problem with the watched status where it reverts itself to unwatched as soon as i finished watching the episode. for a second i see the status change, then it reverts itself to unwatched. every item i watched, i have to manually mark as watched in kodi and then in emby because the status change from kodi won't carry over. this is with kodi 14.2 and 15 with the beta plugin and the stable server. So if it changes, it is due to a userdata message received afterward, and somehow when pulling into from the server, it has the wrong info. Does the server check the nfo when a change happens? As far as I can tell the NFOs I have stored locally are not being updated at all. In Windows they show the files have not been updated or modified since they were scanned in. At least I'm able to reproduce it, so this should get resolved pretty quickly. It looks like a simple reset resync solves the issue. I can't explain it, the playcount we applied is correct, the server returns the correct playcount, we write the correct playcount to database, but then it's not there. Odd.
