Chuck 17
Log.txt Emby Version 3.0.5675.1 When tuning channel from Web client or FireTV client, the show does not play. Looking at the server, it seems that no tuner is taken. Using HDHomeRun PRIME cable card tuner.
mediacowboy 438
Has the IP of your tunner changed?
Chuck 17
No, I have a DHCP reservation set to keep it locked. I've tried uninstalling EmbyTV, and power cycling the tuner. Now, it seems to be grabbing the tuner, but not showing the TV show. Then, If I change channels, the first tuner is not released, the second channel is grabbed. But, still no show coming through the Web client. (figured I'd start there, haven't tried the FireTV client yet) Also, unable to reset the tuners once taken. Chuck 17
Completed a fresh install and configuration. Seems that I can get channels to play, and the tuner is getting released as expected. But, the start of the stream is staggeringly slow. In fact, it seems to only launch after right clicking the window and selecting "inspect element". Could be just coincidental with the wait, but seems to be consistent. Also, does EmbyTV not play HBO? Chuck 17
Well ... It looks like this is related to copy protected channels. As long as I don't select HBO, everything seems to work fine. Only HBO seems to cause the channel grabbing and locking. I've had to take that out of the lineup. :-(
