Hitman36 0
Hi, Been using emby without any problems so far, loads and logs in instantly, yet to day when I run it I get a blank screen for up to 30 seconds before emby starts and logs in :/ Reboot/restart this problem looks like it's staying now. I updated to the latest client and server, still the same. Any idea's why it's struggling to start before I do a reinstall of client then server? Thanks. ebr 14910
More than likely, your server IP address changed and you had EMC configured to log in to that particular one. You should set a static IP on your server machine and/or use automatic server detection in EMC (although, you can't if you are automatically logging in to a particular user). nchighland08 0
I'm having the same problem. I've verified that my IP is unchanged and properly configured. There are a host of other small glitches as well - FF, RW, Pause and Stop are often delayed, unresponsive, or get stuck. The only change to the system has been the updated server, which is now completely up-to-date. If I can post other information, please let me know what and how. Thanks ebr, My client/server are static configured (and running on the same PC), however the gateway has been recently changed and my WAN is now a DynamicVPN (VPN running temp on a NAS(temp Gateway)) until my VPN capable router arrives on Monday. My media storage is on a Qnap, maybe running the server on this NAS would resolve the issue (hmm seems like some issues still need ironing out to use this route). Thanks.
