jcain 7
Well, I decided to do a clean install of win7 pro, latest 4600 drivers, etc. installed mbs, then mbt. LAV was obviously installed, tried s/w decoding, no dice. tried quicksyn, dxva both ways, choppy. added madVR into the mix, choppy. installed mpchc + madVR, perfect playback. riddle me that? pagali 62
Your experience isn't really unique at this point. I believe most people are having similar results... I've gone through the same testing process with and without madVR. I'm using an ATI Radeon 6450, however. Both MPC-HC and ZoomPlayer play faultlessly with LAV Filters and MadVR. It's just early days for the MBT internal player, it will get there I'm sure. Edited November 21, 2013 by pagali
Luke 37047
Yea just give it time to improve. mbt is much bigger than mpc because it has the whole application sitting in the background while you play video so that you can click back and browse the library. it's not an apples to apples comparison. it just needs time to get more efficient.
