NiallWaller 0
Somewhere else in the form I was told that Emby Theatre just wasn't good enough right now. Opinions? What Apps have live tv and guide support? Thanks,
swhitmore 781
Are you looking for an app for the TV? I recommend Kodi
NiallWaller 0
I plan to attach Emby up to a tv server. Which Emby Apps will let me watch live tv, recorded tv and tv guide? I believe Emby for Kodi doesn't currently let you do that?
swhitmore 781
Kodi uses the some of the same backend services for Live TV and Emby, therefore they sync together. I use ServerWMC as the backend that connects to Emby and Kodi separately. I see the same recorded shows, and can schedule and manage recordings in both Emby and Kodi just fine. ServerWMC was really easy to set up. I do remember issues when it was first released, but it was fixed shortly after.
