Hey guys,

 

its been a while since I posted any updates and there has been rumors (spread by me) about the iPad app in development. So I thought I would share a first look teaser with everyone. 

NOTE: All credit goes to ErgoProxy, his skills are truly amazing.

 

As of now I don't have an ETA on the release date. My personal commitments have take my time away from MB but I plan to manage my time better and release an app that you would like.

 

The intention is to keep the UI to minimal and break away from the traditional plex, xbmc look of grids and lists.

Is this going to be an update for the iphone app or will it be separate in the app store?

I love the menu on the bottom. Great way to make use of screen real estate, while also keeping it out of the way.

It will probably be a separate app only because I want to keep the iPhone app free. Will decide before release.

That looks the dogs danglies - at last I might have some reason to actually use our ipad. Love the clean lines and overall use of the screen space.

Looks great. This is what I have been waiting for to put on my sons ipad. I setup the server on it, but he still has a hard time navigating (he just turned 5) If you need a tester (my little guy, not me) ley me know. :)

Ahhh finally give the iPad Air and iPad mini retina the MB client they deserve!

It looks amazing and also, important IMO, matches the iPhone theme generally.

 

Glad to see you're still alive Shiv! You're the man!

iPad users have to use Plex client just because it's really the only choice but the fact is that their interface is boring and out of date a bit. There is no sign of dev going on since last July and it's sad with iOS 7, new iPhones and iPads.

This could be a great milestone for iPad users...

As a big fan of minimalistic desig I must say: "F%#K YEAH!!!!"

Look awsome, actually the first design I've seen on a iDevice which I like.
