It doesn't matter to me who developed this product or when. Even if it was originally developed by Elon Musk, that doesn't change the fact that there is a lack of support for local song lyrics. This was done by someone else. Even if you did 90% of the work, that doesn't negate the current issues.

My question is: why does Jellyfin correctly recognize the "Album Artist" tag and display the information correctly in the relevant sections for a collection of 9000+ songs when all ID3 tags are properly set, while on your server, this process takes about two hours? After this time, scanning continues, and the "Album Artist" information is still displayed incorrectly, including the "Artist" information, leading to confusion.

However, in Kodi with the CU LRC Lyrics plugin installed, it works, even though the plugin documentation does not indicate that the API should be paid (https://gitlab.com/ronie/script.cu.lrclyrics/-/blob/master/lib/culrcscrapers/musixmatch/lyricsScraper.py). If the API is indeed paid, why not create a plugin where users can purchase a token and pay for it themselves?

Why should I pay for a basic function that is already available in other solutions? Your approach to offering paid features gives the impression that the goal is merely to maximize profit, raising questions about the quality and fairness of your support.

Postscript: I decided to check the feature requests for Jellyfin, which you are developing, and was surprised to see that a request for song lyrics support, created in September 2019, has gathered over 500 votes. Meanwhile, your similar request from June 2015 has only 12 votes. This indicates that the issue is not just with your specific feature but is part of a broader concern that requires more serious attention. Doesn’t this suggest that the problems you are addressing might need to be analyzed and potentially improved at a higher level?
