Hi

When trying to play movies in Internet Explorer I keep getting a runtime library error (screenshot attached). The Video crashes but the audio continues.

Twice now it has crashed to a blue screen with a DPC_Watchdog_Violation.

This is on Windows 8.!

Server version 3.0.5621.4

Logs attached.

Upon furtherinvestigation this only occures when going into a movie throught the genres or collection tabs and playing the movie from it's base screen page. Playing the same movie from the movies or latest tabs using the new slide down menu plays the movie fine.

Those are often hardware related. I bet if you keep testing more you'll see that it will occur randomly no matter where begin playback from within the web client. I would consider running hardware diagnostics.

Hi

Well I've tested 13 movies over the weekend, .MKV, .AVI & .MP4, everyone failed with the error within a minute of me starting it from the movies home page and every single one ran fine all the way through when played from the new slide down menu.

Movies will play from their home page in firefox but tend to stutter, but again play from the new slide menu play flawlessly.

There is nothing random about it.

As you say it may well be hardware related, but the fact is Emby ran fine before the 3.0.5621.4 update and now it doesn't.Something in the last update has caused this.
