whitman27 1
Hi Guys, Not sure what is happening with my setup but my Roku is no longer showing the watched Status when something is completly watched. This issue popped up on my Emby Theatre, and now seems to be happening on my Roku now also. Anyone have some ideas? Cheers Whit
ElJef 0
This is not localized to the Roku. This is happening on several of my devices as well as the web interface. When something is marked as watched, it later shows up as "unwatched". I can reliably reproduce this on the web interface, Nexus Player, and Emby Theater. whitman27 1
check metadata settings to see if syncing watched states to nfo is enabled. if it is, and if you have other programs that touch your nfo's, there is a good chance that that is the reason. my setup consists of a Server, a system running Emby Theatre and a roku upstairs on a different TV. don't have any other devices that would change the NFO. Luke 36997
then try disabling that setting if you don't need it.
whitman27 1
then try disabling that setting if you don't need it. Disable the sync function on the NFO? Does that not provide the info for the Watch Status? if I disable it will the server update info on its own?
Solution Luke 36997 Posted May 26, 2015 Solution Share Posted May 26, 2015 the purpose of the feature is to write watched data to nfo so that other apps can read it. if you don't need that, then you can disable it.
whitman27 1
So as long as I am using EMBY Theatre and Emby on Roku with Server I have no need for this option. I will give it a try and let you know. Thanks! Whit
