I ask cause I get an error "there was an error processing that request" which a server reboot normally fixs be a lot easier if I could do this within mbt. Is there a way to skip to the next trailer? tmservo 2 Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) I'm playing with the current build and see a lot to like. I'm using this as a front end in my main theater soon. So, here's the question I have.. my display device is a Sony ES600.. so I'm always outputting 4K. So far, even when I chose for this to auto-start with Windows (I'm using 8.1) it does, but it never auto-starts full screen. Seemingly only taking a 1920x1080 box.. is there a way to adjust this to make sure it starts full screen everytime on any reboot? Thanks. Swynol 375 Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 just a quick one, this has only started happening since the last Beta update but after restarting the PC that MBS is installed on, when it boots back up MBS loads but all my files appear Offline. i check MBS and its scanning my Library. You don't need screen real estate for this. Once playback is started, the OSD will allow you to control the item. Or you can even go a route similar to the Web Client and popup an overlay if the mouse lingers over an item too long. If wanted I can 1. Add a quickplay command that will only play the last item in the playlist. 2. Imap it to an obscure key code (CTRL-P is already mapped to play) 3. Users with programmable remotes can map the keycode 2. When I add command mapping via external xml file, anyone can map it to whatever they please If there is enough demand, I'll add an enhancement request to our issues list and get around to it sometime in the future Later on it can be added to a context menu when we implement context menus BUT We are in the process of implementing NextTrack for MBT, when it is available (soon) why not just map nexttrack instead and hit play then nexttack to skip the intros or better still, just turn off intros Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The default key map is still a bit fluid. I've tried to stay compatible with XBMC, but we have some standards that have already diverged. I will set up a sticky thread with 1. High level design/doc of Commands, Actions and Keycode maps 2. a list of all commands (many are not yet implemented - i.e no action) 3. a list of currently mapped key codes ( KeyCode -> Command) NOTE - The commands, actions and keycode maps can and will change while the MBT is still under intensive development. Users are very particular about their favorite commands and remote mappings and I dont want to spend my time in fruitless discussion.
