Just installed Emby, using it with Roku 3. When trying to view photos, I have to scroll through thousands of pictures to get to the right ones. In my computer, within the Pictures folder, I have hundreds of photo folders titled with the dates the pictures were taken, such as 2014-3-25, so in my pc I can scroll down or up to the right folder, then view pictures. Is there any way to do that with Emby within the Roku interface?

I'm sorry, my mistake, I was experiencing that problem with the Plex one which I was also trying out. On the Emby, the folder names do show up and I can scroll left or right, but the problem is that when I press the OK button on the Roku 3 remote on the highlighted photo folder, I hear the click but nothing happens. The same with any other photo folder.

I just did a quick test with a photo library and wasn't able to reproduce. if you can install the zip version of the app and obtain a roku log, if we can identify the problem a fix will be posted shortly:

Thanks.

Luke, thank you. And again I apologize for my ignorance. I was by mistake using Media Browser instead of Emby. I just realized it, installed Emby, and it works as you described. Everything is good now. Thank you again.

Glad to hear it. Do you mind telling me how you came across the Media Browser channel? It is something we want to avoid future users falling into. Thanks.

I came across this post and thought I might answer Luke's question about the MB channel. I too have that channel as well as the Emby channel. The Media Browser channel is available on the Roku channel list along with Plex and other media scrapers
