footose 2
Yup - same problem here - also - haven't had time to download the source to take a look (actually, I did, but I can't get it to compile.. i gave up ).. This is most def a problem. I've already attached both Android and Server logs - and several video's of the issue. What more is required to get this moving? What do you need from us to do so. Edited April 17, 2015 by footose
Luke 37007
I've got a nexus 5 here as well, plus a few different devices in the emulator. I guess I would first try updating the server to the new release and clearing app data from the device. then we'll take it from there.
davedick 17
Hi Everyone, First I apologize if I should start a separate thread, but I'm also having issues with the android app, if it's not connected to the home network. When I try to play a recorded show or live show (while connected to the cellular network), I get the spinning circle & after about 30 seconds or so, it will go back to the channel, I tried watching or back to the recorded TV show list. When I look at the logs, it appears to be an FFMPEG error. However that being said, If I try watching the same channel on my android phone, while connected to my wireless router, then It plays just fine. As far as it being a not enough bandwidth issue (my upload is 10 Mbps), I was able to connect from my parents machine & play back a recorded or live show with no issues. Luke 37007
I'm willing to try it, but not sure the link to the dev server. In advanced, set your update level to Dev and then restart the server. After receiving the update you will probably want to change the update level back to Stable to avoid the constant stream of Dev-level server updates. davedick 17
Not running Linux, just Windows. And if you are running Linux, it will take a little more than that. Let us know if you are.
