Music Playback over DLNA Speakers

Here's what I think is a simple question.

Is it possible to use Emby to host a multi-room audio playback system using DLNA speakers (like the Pioneer XW-SMA1-K)?  It would be great if I could have several of these speakers around the house and from the music section of Emby simply select "Play to XX device".

If this is possible, I'm thinking I would then be able to play different tracks to different speakers, which would make this a great alternative to Sonos.

Is anyone using Emby for something like this, or have a better solution?

Yes I actually have the SMA1's in every room of my house, and I want to get an SMA4 for the pool!  Shame they don't sell them any more...   I've been buying mine up from ebay...     Yes the SMA's show up in EMBY's remote control or "play to" list... No DLNA server can stream to all of the speakers at once, but you can with apple's air play...   I personally hate iCrap, though i'm forced to use it at work (phone and ipad).     Anyway, you can also download "Airfoil" that is a windows based software that will let you stream to all of your airplay speakers at once, in sync...   The software isn't free, but it isn't expensive and well worth it.  I usually use Pandora with it and stream to all speakers in the house..   Though i have a bunch of music on my emby server i just hate making playlists, then i get tired of them...  have to make a new playlist...  i really don't know what i want to listen to, just want to hear good stuff for a long time, i'm lazy..  :-)     long story short, yes...
