I have quite a few movies that I deleted ALL backdrop(s).jpg for (to clean up) but now they just will not fetch backdrops again with 'refresh'.

The tmdbid is fine, and i can launch the tmdbid page from within the metadata view of mb3.

the films have a folder.jpg and perhaps some other logos, clearart, disc etc.

i removed the RT plugin, following an idea on another thread and i had thought it had helped, with 1 movie that wouldnt fetch backdrops, then successfully did. However this may have been a coincidence as i still have some movies that stubbornly refuse to fetch backdrops with error above.

If i use the new online image browser feature, backdrop downloads works fine.

when i visit the page for movie in dashboard i get

2013-11-10 09:53:10.3284, Warn, StringMapTypeDeserializer, Property 'id' does not exist on type 'MediaBrowser.WebDashboard.Api.GetDashboardResource'

when i click force refresh i get

2013-11-10 11:21:54.2321, Info, App, HttpClientManager.Get url: http://www.omdbapi.com/?i=tt0097108&tomatoes=true

(even after removing the rt plugin fwiw)

any ideas, can post entire log if helpful.

Check the min size configuration in the metadata section of the dashboard.

Omdb is part of the core and we get the rotten tomato score using it. The RT plugin just gets the written reviews.

the min size is default (i assume) of 1280, and i have checked a few stubborn movies and they all have 1920 backdrops.

i think the warn in logs, is a common factor between all the stubborn movies.

when visiting the movie in dashboard.

should i repeat some specific troubleshooting steps and post the log?

i switched on debug logging and hit refresh on a stubbotn move (Dan in real life)at 2013-11-11 07:36:50.3668 and got

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/84611964/server-63519751938.log

Url: http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/Items/09e87d04c01a41653f385acdc4a6adaa/Refresh?forced=true&recursive=true

gave

Handler for Request not found:

Request.HttpMethod: GET
Request.HttpMethod: GET
Request.PathInfo: /Items/09e87d04c01a41653f385acdc4a6adaa/Refresh
Request.QueryString: forced=true&recursive=true
Request.RawUrl: /mediabrowser/Items/09e87d04c01a41653f385acdc4a6adaa/Refresh?forced=true&recursive=true

of all the responses this is the only one that looks 'bad' but i can post the others if required

reinstalling mb3 from scratch after removing all the cache\data, fixed the problem, so it wasnt a problem with the media collection/metadata on the file system.

ginja - you've been running dev server releases, right?  If so, that is probably the culprit and why the clean start fixed it.
