I don't have a Samsung TV but figured you guys should see this so you know if it happens that it's not an issue with Chess's app. http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/02/samsung-smart-tvs-inserting-ads-into-third-party-apps/ Although GigaOm suggests the ad placement in third-party apps may have been a mistake on Samsung's part, the business model is certainly intentional. As one redditor explained, the ads can be disabled: “To disable: press Menu on your Samsung Remote and scroll to Smart Hub > Terms & Policy > Yahoo Privacy Policy. chessdragon136 677 Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 Thanks - Not heard any official word from Samsung but it seems to be an issue with the latest firmware that was distributed for Australian models (UK language Asia) I'll keep an eye out.
