Samsung inserting ads into third party apps

Apparently people have been complaining about this. I don't have a Samsung TV but figured you guys should see this so you know if it happens that it's not an issue with Chess's app.

Although GigaOm suggests the ad placement in third-party apps may have been a mistake on Samsung's part, the business model is certainly intentional. As one redditor explained, the ads can be disabled: “To disable: press Menu on your Samsung Remote and scroll to Smart Hub > Terms & Policy > Yahoo Privacy Policy. Scroll to 'I disagree with the Yahoo Privacy Notice' and you can toggle the option on to opt-out.”

Thanks - Not heard any official word from Samsung but it seems to be an issue with the latest firmware that was distributed for Australian models (UK language Asia) 

I'll keep an eye out.
