Tranquil 93
Hello Devs. Today I tried the new version 0.54x at my parents home. They are connected via Internet to my MBS server. I tried bandwidth settings Mobile & WLAN but it does not seem to have any effects when playing an episode or a movie. There is even no transcode log created at server side. Playing a song from my music library generates a transcode log. Can you pls take a look at this? It would also be very handy to specify the bandwidth manually like in the web-interface. I only have a 10 Mbit upstream connection so my favorite would be something around 7Mbit avg. Possible?
CBers 6742
Is your parents TV connected wired or wireless to the Internet? I would change that setting to whatever the connection is. Not 100% sure why the mobile option is there really. @@chessdragon136?
Tranquil 93
The TV is wired directly to the router. Regarding to the information panel within the settings menu the Mobile option should be used only if the TV is connected via Internet to the MBS. Thats the case. chessdragon136 677
Hi there, Funnily enough I've ended up replacing the TV Connection setting with a Bitrate one, which allows a more finite control over the max bitrate to use as opposed to the 3 current options. I've also identified the potential issue that was causing it not to function correctly, so I hope to push out a new update in the next few days (sorry, my code is too much of a mess to try push out today) so try it when it's out.
