thesoundsmith 1
Any idea why? Most folders are normal, this is full of AVI, MPG and WMVs like the others, but every file plays double-speed.
Sergio 4
If your referring to video files playing fast and voices being like "smurfs" I'm having the same issue. In my case is not bound to a specific folder.
Luke 37005
I've not seen this before. Can you provide a sample video file that I can test with? Thanks.
speechles 1917
Problem #1: Odd-speed playback (much too fast, chipmunk voices) Where: All seasons of Trailer Park Boys episodes I have in XViD. Everything prior to Season 7. :*(. What happens: Audio is too fast. Not quite double speed, I wouldn't say that. But it's definitely.. off.. The video also appears to suffer and moves stuttering. Reference: Trailer park boys s04e08 xvid avi Transcoding log: http://paste2.org/fDFwxzff Roku log: http://paste2.org/Xa98xX3V --- Problem #2: Percentage bar fills to 100% video never launches. Where: The entire series from Dead Like Me, season 1 and 2 also XViD. So the entire series cannot play. :*( What happens: bar fills from 15%, to 50%, to 75%, to 100%. Nothing happens. The video never plays. Reference: Dead Like Me s01e01 xvid avi Transcoding log: http://paste2.org/OeYKDtkA Roku log: http://paste2.org/CAy194mY -- @@Luke Both of these videos used to play fine. If you need me to upload these videos so you can see what is happening yourself let me know. Follow-up-edit: Appears an issue with the "auto/AC3" setting in the audio settings with 6.1 firmware on roku. Switching to stereo both these videos now play without issue. But stay without AC3 on everything is limiting. Switching back and forth a hassle. So hopefully this is a temporary fix. Most certainly though something ffmpeg is doing the roku doesn't like anymore. For reference: http://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=82402 Netflix had to adapt their app to make 6.1 firmware work correctly with surround. Media Browser for roku will need to as well.
