My main system runs W7 but is sort of headless in a closet so not very convenient to use for organizing my collection.  I have been using Media Center Master to scrape data, get artwork, etc... which works great but inconvenient since it runs from a closet computer.  My main computer I use is a Mac and I am looking for any advice on alternatives to Media Center Master anyone would suggest.  Would love to hear Pro's and Con's with it.  Thanks in advance.

You could install TeamViewer or a VNC server on your closet computer so you can control it easier from another more convenient computer.

I have a suggestion - Media Browser.

We have complete metadata fetching and management built right in and it is accessible from any web browser.

Trying the internal and loving it!

Does the internal support boxsets, and is there a good tutorial for this.  As I searched I found something ebr was working on but not sure if its the stable version.  Any help is appreciated.

And there is a plug-in in the catalog that will maintain them automatically for you (based on tmdb data).

I was an mcm user, I have a lifetime licence but I haven't used it since going all in with mb3

I was an MCM user as well and had a lifetime licence, but as soon as MB3 came out, I switched to letting it do the metadata fetching.

I've never looked back.

Love the collections plugin.

My existing folder structure is already setup in collections. Is there a way to force the plugin to rescan if I move the folders into individual movies? Or is there a file to delete and rescan. So far it seems I need to completely remove it from the folder then add back in.
