issues with actor png files with transparent background

hey guys, i have some actor images that are for athletes that i pulled from ESPN and they have transparent backgrounds, but the background doesn't show as transparent in the web client or MBC, only when i view it through the metadata manager. here is an example:

Looks like you have a CoverArt treatment on it and the background isn't actually as transparent as it should be.
