porkbone 38
I have been seeing the System.OutOfMemoryException error pop up while in the dashboard. Sometimes the server crashes, sometimes not. It crashed again this morning at 12:17 (I was not in the dashboard at the time), so I thought I would upload some logs and event warnings related to it. Maybe someone can look at this and get a better picture of what is happening. I know there is another post on this error, but I didn't want to hijack it. If there is anything else you need from me, please ask and I will do whatever I can to help you. The MBS memory load sits around 730 to 750 MB normally these days which is a huge improvement compared to a year ago where is was usually around 1.4 GB - That's progress!! I have a fairly big library, obviously Thanks for your time
ebr 14855
That server log doesn't contain that exception. Is there another one that does?
porkbone 38
The next server log is from 3am when the server restarts (plugin). I'll upload it anyway... https://www.dropbox.com/s/i0au6v5769vgs6y/server-63554372543.txt?dl=
Luke 36879
try running without cover art for a while and seeing if it reproduces
porkbone 38
Hi Luke, I think you nailed it. Removed CoverArt yesterday morning and have had no out of memory exceptions logs generated nor have I seen the error on the dashboard. I'll wait until there is an update I guess before reinstalling it, but for now - so far - no crashes! Thanks!
ebr 14855
I'm not aware of anything to update since your server log or crash log did not indicate anything in CA. Removing CA will reduce your memory consumption just because it does take a bit of memory but there isn't anything I can modify with the information so far. porkbone 38
Ok. I'll keep a watch for anything else that might pop up then. Thanks for your time and have a great holiday! Edited December 19, 2014 by porkbone
ebr 14855
Thanks, You too. If you go for a few days with no problems, please try re-adding CoverArt and see if it starts failing again. At least then we'll know that it is affecting it.
