ginjaninja 533 Posted December 13, 2014 Share Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) The youtube client on the roku has some sort of persistence so that even if i am in the mb3 client on roku..i can still play youtube content to the roku... Does the roku ecosystem allow for MB3 roku client to have the same sort of persistence. ginjaninja 533 Posted December 13, 2014 Author Share Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) found this whilst searching...seems like its not possible to run 3rd party apps as services..but there is a workaround to launch channels remotely....if MB3 was happy to persist client roku sessions which had dropped off and continue to present them to 'play to' ui. https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/66601-plex-running-in-background-when-not-in-app/ so not a quick win then.
