Web GUI with remote or keyboard combination

Hi all.

 

When I was using XBMC I started to look into setting up a remote control before I stumbled upon Media Browser and got side tracked (In a good way).

 

I’m currently using MB through the web interface and would like to know is there a way to set it up with a MCE remote control / keyboard combination mapped to a button / third party application?

 

It would just polish the experiance for none technical family members if I could set one up.

That's great news, I thought it would be a no can’t do that through a browser. Hope to see this in the future.

 

Along with the standard play/pause, stop etc it would be great if we could have the ability to customise a few, example:

Ctrl + F to got to Films,

Ctrl + Alt + F to Kids Films,

Ctrl + L to Live TV,

Ctrl + M to Music,

Ctrl + S to Stand-up Comedy,

Ctrl + T to TV Series,

Ctrl + Alt +T to Kids TV Series, etc.

 

Everyone could add/edit to there own requirements, with an option to reset to defaults. So people could add Anime, Documentaries, Home Videos etc, etc.

 

Maybe on a setup page to enter keyboard keys to web location and maybe a discription colum as well?
