Trapperjohn61 24 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) Hi, So I installed Emby for android 3.5.12 on my friends firestick so he can access his sever. At this time I do not wish for him to access my server. Yet when going to the side menu he selects the 2nd choice which shows his server name he see my server too. How do I prevent him from seeing my server in the list so it only shows his? I also want to be able to see his server from my Emby app at home. GrimReaper 4501 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 It is per-user selection, only the user that removes it won't have it in Sever Selection screen.

Noone should able to see your sever remotely (sniffers aside) unless server details added manually or logged in through Emby Connect (with you linking their local account to their Connect account beforehand).

What I am asking is once email addy is entered on his server but then I remove it before installing the app will the app only show his server. So if a server has my info then delete form server then install app only his server will show? thank you
GrimReaper 4501 Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I have to admit I hardly understand anything there. Just remove your server from Select Server page shown on your screenshot. He won't see it anymore unless you have added him as a user on your server and linked his Connect account to that user.

I was just asking if I remove that form server before installing the app for my son not this friend would it not show any other servers just his is this field Emby connect email address for his profile on server is why it shows up?
