T3rt3r 1 Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Hi everyone, I’m facing a persistent issue with my Emby server. Both my iPad (iPadOS) and iPhone (iOS) display the following warning in the Emby app: "Le serveur Emby doit être mis à jour. Pour télécharger la dernière version, veuillez visiter nttps://emby.media" (Translation: "The Emby server must be updated. To download the latest version, please visit nttps://emby.media") Key Details: - iPhone (iOS): The warning appears, but I can still navigate using the bottom menu. - iPad (iPadOS): The warning is blocking—I cannot interact with the app at all. I’m already running the latest version of Emby (Docker/Compose setup), and the app is up to date on both devices. Technical Details: - Emby Server Version: 4.9.1.80 - Installation: Docker (Compose) - Access: Reverse proxy (HTTPS via port 443) - Mobile App Version: 2.2.44 Screenshot: ScreenRecording_10-09-2025 14-06-02_1.mov ScreenRecording_10-09-2025 14-00-00_1.mp4
Luke 41280 Posted October 9 Posted October 9 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
T3rt3r 1 Posted October 10 Author Posted October 10 Hi Luke, Please find attached the Emby server logs after restarting the application from my phone and encountering the error. embyserver.txt
T3rt3r 1 Posted October 22 Author Posted October 22 @Luke I’m still experiencing the same issue on iOS and iPadOS. Do you need any additional information? I’m a new user of the app, and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy my first month of subscription on my Apple devices.
T3rt3r 1 Posted October 28 Author Posted October 28 The problem seems to be solved on my iPhone. I will test on my iPad tomorrow, because it is not with me at the moment. 1
T3rt3r 1 Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 In reality the problem is still present on my iPhone and also on my iPad
Luke 41280 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 HI, have you compared your reverse proxy settings to this?
T3rt3r 1 Posted November 6 Author Posted November 6 @LukeI don't use an NGINX as a reverse proxy. I'm with Zoraxy: https://zoraxy.aroz.org
Luke 41280 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Right but most reverse proxies have similar options. Can you compare yours to that?
