smarty39 0
I assume that this is simply a limitation of the iOS software itself, but worth asking just in case. I have a fairly large library (500+) and about 75% of those are full 1:1 bluray rips. Is there anyway to get these to play on the iPhone app? My MKV rips (mostly my kids movies) play flawlessly. I was eventually planning on converting everything but it will be quite the undertaking...so thought I'd ask the braintrust for suggestions. sfnetwork 514
Can you play them from the Web Client?
smarty39 0
To be honest I haven't tried...I'll give that a shot tonight. Any insight on the iOS question? Or is it just not possible to play bluray rips through iOS?
Solution Luke 37007 Posted October 23, 2013 Solution Share Posted October 23, 2013 They stream though the server so yes in theory they're possible, however folder rip and iso streaming is considered experimental and will often fail. The web client has a warning about that the first time you try to play and the iOS app will have one in the next update too.
