user84 40 Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I recently installed a mesh network in my home and since then I've been getting this error every time I open up the Emby app. What's strange is, the error shows up even as Emby is accessing the server. Any idea why this error comes up every time?
ebr 15899 Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Probably because an old address is either being published by your server or is remembered by the app. The app will retry the connection different ways. One way is failing the other is working. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.

I can definitely try that, but I was under the impression that you had to pay for the Android app. I'm not a premiere member

I am curious though whether this is a bug. I have switched back to the fire stick app because of the Android app hanging constantly when my TV sleeps. Will this "unable to connect" error be fixed in future releases?
