HappyGilmour 14 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Hi, I am using m3u4u to set my playlist. I have some logos set there. I have checked that the m3u that is being exported from m3u4u (via Dropbox) has the correct logo for the channel in question (although this is an issue for several channels.) But when it is getting updated into Emby the logo is being changed? Is this a known issue or maybe I need to change a setting somewhere? Thank you in advance!

HappyGilmour 14 Posted September 30 Author Posted September 30 The m3u Shows this for WABC #EXTINF:-1 tvg-chno="121" tvg-id="ABC.(WABC).New.York,.NY.us" tvg-name="ABC (WABC - New York NY)" tvg-logo="https://github.com/tv-logo/tv-logos/blob/main/countries/united-states/us-local/abc-7-wabc-us.png?raw=true" group-title="Solid",ABC (WABC - New York NY) https://fl25.moveonjoy.com/ABC_EAST/index.m3u8 But the logo appearing in the guide is just the "normal" ABC network logo.

No joy. I clicked on the channel. The ABC network logo is there. I clicked on the trash can. Confirmed delete. Updated guide. It brings the network logo right back.

Doesn't solve my problem....but I understand why it is happening now. Any way to over-ride the behavior of having the epg logo source take precedence over the m3u source?

Yes, there is an option to prefer images from the guide data or the M3U source. You can find this option in your M3U TV Source’s settings under the Live TV section of the server settings. 1

jesmannstl 0 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I have all my logos the exact way I want them in the m3u and have logos set to prefer logo from m3u however Emby keeps adding the Emby guide data logo light with color and making that the one displayed. I delete it and then later it reappears
