Hello im trying to use the url emby:// schemes 

But i dont know where or how to set the action.intent to view pls some one exsplain

@seanbuffi have seen this post but im not able to get emby to react to any intent via browser even got gpt to help making a html that runs it for me but still no luck im missing some thin some where .

intent://item/1234#Intent;scheme=emby;package=com.mb.android;end

@seanbuffIm trying to get homarr to launch the emby app insted off the browser and only way according to them is using deep link

And according to the internet its should be a simple as emby://item/1234

But f me its not

Well you're asking about Android intents, which are deep links to start an Android app directly with a specific activity or view (page) -- all within an Android device like phone, or TV device

Isn't Homarr just a browser based Dashboard? I don't see how the two would be related.

@seanbuffIm using homarr as a home screen on a tablet so all my server stuff is accessible from 1 page but all of them are web based interfaces exsept emby that has a good android app so i wanted to be able to launch the app from that same page

And what i could find was using deep link would be the only solution

Okay, I just installed Homarr and tested this. It works by opening the Android app on the device directly to the desired item, which is what I think you wanted?

As per the comment that I first linked you, @Luke outlines the format you need:

"emby://items/{SERVER_ID}/{ITEM_ID}"

So when you create your app in Homarr, your URL should look like this:

You can get your SERVER_ID and ITEM_ID by selecting an item within the Emby web app and copying the relevant parts from the URL in your browser

eg: https://my.emby.server:8096/emby/web/index.html#!/item?id=7358&serverId=4e42195aedc340exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

@seanbuffyou are awsome mate .you never going to guess why mine was not working this is what u get when u mess with stuff during night shift i had messed up the copy paste of the server id .

By the way is there a list of working comands .

If u ever think about setting up multi system  streaming and need help setting up voicemeeter/matrix or just want to controll everything over network with midi give me a shout

There aren't really commands at this point other than opening an item, but let us know what you need.

Hi thank u for ur response  i was mostly woundering about how i would work if i wanted to open lets say a tv folder called thriller but for a specific user or a movie  genre for a specific user thats the comand list i ment

Do you have the id's for those things from the server database?

Not atm laying in bed with 40c 

But would it be some thing like 

/item/{server id}/item/{user id}/item/{folder id}

And if i wanted just the main page i would just not add the last item

Try

emby://items/serverid/itemid#Intent;scheme=emby;package=com.mb.android;end

This should open the detail screen for the item.
