GotanMusic 0 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Hi I'm having a frustrating issue with setting the output for music - any help much appreciated. I have emby on Freenas. My network has a Marantz NA6000 music streamer attached to the server via ethernet and plays via my HiFi system - that's what I want as my default 'player' or output. I also have a Sonos Arc soundbar for the TV in another room connected via eArc to the TV and on the same (Ethernet) connected network. My issue is that Emby always sees the Sonos in the list of available outputs in the pull down on emby music, but in order to see the Marantz as an option I have to turn off the Sonos at the plug and then reboot the NAS drive and restart Emby. Only then does the Marantz show up. Its very frustrating. Is there anyway to set the Marantz as an always on default option in Emby please? Thanks in advance Chris

So we need to learn why that is happening. Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
GotanMusic 0 Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 Thanks for the reply Luke. Here is the log file. Says a DNLA was established for the Marantz, but from the attached pictures, this is what I see from the Emby app on PC and second one from the emby app on my phone. I am unable to select the Marantz streamer, It also thinks the Sonos soundbar is a DNLA - it's not... it's just a soundbar attached to the TV.. Many thanks Chris embyserver log file.txt
