Emby Music Play Count

I just added my music collection (previously just movies and shows) and am pretty happy with it. 

One feature that i hope it has and just have not seen where to turn it on is play count. When I play songs from my phone via the server, it recognizes I played it as recent. It there a way I can see in the library the number of times a song has been played or album? It's a feature Navidrome has and I liked it. :-)

This is a nice metric to track. It will be especially helpful once smart playlists are implemented too. Being able to build playlists where the play count is greater than one really helps weed out the songs you have no interest in listening too. Even the old iPod classic and iTunes has this ability, I used it all the time.

Hi, table view allows you to display this information.

I am looking at table view and do not see any column for play count. Is that the overview column?

Have you explored the column selector?

Title, Sort Title, Artist, Composer, Community Rating, Critic Rating, Parental Rating, Year, Release Date, Runtime, Genres, Tags, Studios, Overview, Favorite, Data Added

I don't see in  this list any thing I would think would be play count.

And piggy-backing onto this question, I "thought" on the home page there was a setting / option to see the 'last played" or recently played music. Right now all I am seeing is My Media which is the Music library and the Latest Music. For some reason I was sure when I was working on setting this up there was a view to see most recent played albums.

Actually I did. It  ends at Date Added.

This is all I see on the home page. (Just have Music on the Server due to limitations of hardware. But I cannot find the option to see recently played. Just latest music which is what was added, not played.

Try clicking into your music library.

I don't think we've ever had that, but there is a section for that on the music suggestions page.

Yes the miriad of options I was referring to seeing was on the Songs tab.

Thank you that was it! 

I appreciate Emby's great support both from the business unit and the community.

(Be nice option in the future to be able to adjust those column widths so with few columns checked a person would not need to scroll to the right to get to the fields they want to see).
